Half Empty or Half Full

Half empty or half full? As far back as I can recall I have been a half-full person. That doesn’t mean trials haven’t gotten me down, but I always seem to find a way to rise above them.

I believe that is a gift from God. He blessed me with the drive and determination I could not have created for myself. He allowed the challenges I faced, and they have made me a better version of myself.

Today I believe God is using my life experiences for something much bigger than just me. But if I am to partner with Him in this adventure, I understand it requires effort on my part. I recall a time when it seemed He placed a desire on my heart to become a physician assistant. God opened the doors to circumstances that would serve me, which led me to seeking more of Him, because I knew He had a specific plan for my life. I have learned this: if He calls you to it, He will bring you through it. Like Job… God provided abundantly for my education, and He opened doors I I was unaware needed opening.

My message is one of hope and security for the future. If your future looks challenging, don’t give up! Fix your eyes on Jesus, and press on, Friend. He will not let you down.
